- Free 5-week introductory cohort at Ω Labs, October 12 to November 9. Apply by October 8.
- Up to $20M over three years for 8 to 12 interdisciplinary clusters in robust, reasoning and responsible AI, up to $1.95M each. Led from Université de Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal, HEC Montréal, Université Laval or McGill. Letters of intent were due July 31.
- Mila’s yearly supervision request window for research master’s and PhD applicants. Selected applicants hear back between January and April. Postdoctoral fellowships have their own process.
- Help write and publish the newsletter: upcoming events, what Montréal’s AI safety community got done, and what is worth knowing. One edition a month, with a drafting pipeline already in place.
- Open roles in research, engineering and operations at the nonprofit AI safety lab launched by Yoshua Bengio, most of them based in Montréal. Postings are in English.
